Its primary winding turns are few, and it is strung in the line of the current that needs to be measured, so it often has all the current flowing through the line, and the secondary winding turns are more, and it is connected in series with the measuring instrument and the protection circuit, and the current transformer is always closed in its 2 circuits when it is working, so the impedance of the measuring instrument and the series coil of the protection circuit is very small, and the working state of the current transformer is close to a short circuit.
